I have to say that I wasn't looking forward to starting over from scratch, just to watch the opening sequence and dialog in Japanese. I have to say, the mix of English text and the original VAs exceeded all my expectations!
Having all the nasty re-encoded videos restored to their original versions is just the icing on the cake. The P3 Fes title poster frame of the OP video no longer judders and shimmers all over the screen, a huge improvement.
Now to get it working with my PS3 for 1080p...
